About POM Painting

POM Painting is a family-run painting and decorating business based on the Redcliffe Peninsula, servicing Moreton Bay and North Brisbane.

Owner Chris has more than 15 years of hands-on painting and decorating experience. His career began in Gloucestershire, England, where he completed a three-year painting and decorating apprenticeship and learned his trade working on new-build homes.

After completing his apprenticeship, Chris worked as a subcontract painter for specialist new-build painting companies in the UK. His experience progressed from painting individual properties to running complete building sites and delivering painting and decorating across multiple new homes.

From England to Australia

Chris moved from England to Australia with his family to build a new life and raise his family here.

Before establishing POM Painting, he continued his painting career in Australia, working on and running painting projects throughout Brisbane. This included painting works on the railway project at Brisbane's Ekka, along with several other projects across the region.

Today, the Redcliffe Peninsula is home.

POM Painting combines traditional British trade training, more than 15 years of practical experience and experience working on Australian homes and projects.

POM Painting is now a family business, with Chris working alongside his two sons.
